That is an unbelievable lack of professionalism.
We always use a back board and neck brace even at our lowly club level races.

unacceptable in 2012. i know that med staff and track marshals include a lot of volunteers but like bruce says, there would be repercussions for a fallen rider being handled that way at that a club race.

i hope barbera is back soon.

I just watched the Barbera crash, i can't believe how they handled that. The session was red flagged instantly so why were they in such a hurry to get him up? It's totally unacceptable.

And to make matters worse, we now have to watch in agony how Tony the Turtle battles a CRT untill he falls of. Why not give the ride to Ianonne or Redding?

Hector must be hanging around Ben! His luck has went bad!

I like Hector and wish him a fast recovery! Many members seem to think he gets to many tows. He's a good kid just try'n to get it done on a bike that maybe is'nt up to par!

Hector would shine in WSB on a decent ride!

Hayden now with a big crash, yet another highside... potentially mechanical issue, speculated by Parish. It did look odd...

Weren't all 3 in the same corner? Scary stuff, Hayden clearly went unconscious on impact.

Not sure if same corner, but all right handers.

Hayden stretchered off, but was sat up waving to possibly the fattest crowd I have ever seen.

Stoner diagnosed with torn ligament in his right ankle.

This track is asking for accidents, don't like it at all either... I am too scared to watch Moto2 to be honest.

No I think they were all in the middle of the long left hander (270 degrees) at the end of the track.

Rossi had a moment there right now, there's something about that place IMO.

Yes we certainly have, but looking at that race we still have some way to go before we are in 1st place!

Let the speculation begin that there was a burger wrapper blowing around on the track through that final sequence of corners.

That was the most uncomfortable qualifying session I have seen in a long time. Hayden was obviously knocked out cold, so will be interesting to see if he will be allowed to race tomorrow? What is the rule in this situation?

Also, anyone have an update on Stoner? My first thought was 'great' when I read about the ligament damage, but can't soft tissue damage potentially be worse than a bone break? That was an absolute hum-dinger of a crash though, presumably half of my street was wondering why someone shouted "fuck me!" at the top of their voice..

Man that was a painful qualifying. Hope the riders are all ok. When Ben crashed he looked like he'd be smashing Dani's laptime. Luckily he was able to walk away.

After Hayden crashed in the same place I was wondering how that is possible. They all use different electronics and all have different chassis. I refuse to believe that all 3 and their respective teams set up their bike equally wrong and made the same mistake in the same turn. What are the odds?
