About Rossi
Won 125 250 and 500.Then four strokes and two manufacturers. That one isn't Ducati I dont think matters
Seems very harsh to call him narrow
Comparisons with Hailwood.Cant comment direct as to young to have seen at his best. He apparently could ride anything but was poor at machine set up.
A mate's Dad was in his camp and would always say Mike had no idea about machine preparation. He would moan about needing harder damping etc. They would leave the bike as they thought it was best.Tell him they had modified it.He would go out thinking that and win the race.He also said he was the fastest rider in the world with a hangover ;)He reckoned Mike was the greatest ever natural talent??
If the comparison is with Ago then again difficult to compare era's then I think Vale would be ok with it and matches up pretty well

That pretty much jives with Ago's own recollections. Said he tried Hailwood's bike and it felt like a block of wood. Said Hailwood was rather machine insensitive and could go fast on anything. Compared Rossi more like himself that he was more sensitive to the bike and what it was doing or not doing.

So Rossi's like Ago and Stoner's like Hailwood?

Rossi is machine sensitive, like's everything to be 'just so' and then will be incredibly fast. Stoner will be fast on anything. Period.

Are we done here now? :D ;)
