Well, just to be awkward (nothing new there) I'm right handed, drive on the left, and have no particular preference for left of right hand corners, and as such there is no voting option for me.

That's fine. The goal here is to understand why some people have a harder time turning one direction so if it isn't an issue for you, knowing that doesn't really give us much information.

My Eldest son and I are both right handed, drive on the left and prefer left turns. My youngest is left handed and prefers left turns as well. We all ride moto trials and can flick the bike a lot futher to the left than the right. My youngest and I have motards and find fast left handers a lot easier. We thought that maybe it had something to do twith the throttle and or the rear brake position?

Left handed, drive on the left and like left-handers.

I also like pina colada and walks in the rain :?

Right handed, ride on the right, prefer right turns. Don't know why, just more comfortable leaning right.

Right-Handed
Drive on the Left
Prefer Left Hand Curves

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I was 4/5 when I first started riding my 50cc Italjet around the speedway tracks (once my old man had finished his race weekends)... so maybe it's just what I was used to?

Just some speculation to throw into the mix :P

Just to skew your thoughts Rats ---------

I'm ambidextrous, drive on the left, prefer left hand curves.

When in Europe I find it rather odd in that I drive on the right and prefer right hand curves when in a left hand drive car -- but I feel a little insecure in a right hand drive car!!

RH handed , drive on left and I don't have a preference so long as the rear is spinning. Though I watched this video the first half didn't phase me but I was shit scared in the last half, work that out Rats

That is a pretty awesome video.

Personally, now that I'm back on twisty roads again (there aren't any in Phoenix), I haven't noticed a preference lately except in managing my sight lines (right-hand turns tend to have shorter sight lines when you are riding on the right). Of course, I've also spent a lot of time working on my throttle control which may also play a role in the left turn preference.

It also seems that riders who have a lot of years in the saddle and a lot of miles on the odo tend to have less of a preference so maybe after 30 something years and at least a couple hundred thousand miles, I've finally started to learn to ride. Probably not, I'm still slow as hell.

,,can't find my category so I cant vote

I actually write left handed

Play a bit of guitar right handed

Throw right handed

bowl right handed

prefer to consume craft ale's offered from my left hand

play golf right handed, but can't draw because of a left hand grip dominance.

I knew I was f*cked a long time ago, but for the record,, I'm way faster/ more comfortable turning left. and I never cross the line, so to me I treat the road as is the "other" side doesn't exist,,, so there is no drive on the left or drive on the right.

That actually sounds just like me. I was forced as a kid to learn to do most things right-handed so I adapted and still do them that way. For things that require more fine dexterity, I use my left, everything else, my right.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

I find that being ambidextrous is particularly useful when using a wheelbarrow!Image

,, on that "I prefer to turn left" thing,, upon further reflection.. I have had only 2 incidences of "target fixation" near catastrophes while blasting through the canyons of Malibu/Santa Monica, and both times It was a soil-ur-shorts approach to a right hand turn.. I get so mad at myself for getting bested by a turn...

I don't know it that has anything to do with my left turn preference..

Funny thing is the true meaning of ambidexterous is "2 right hands"

The word for left handed is actually "sinister"
I love riding. But not in Libya.
