I like this one. Rossi generally finished ahead of Hayden last season but Hayden has been a lot happier in testing (if he is happy with the Duc, that gives you some idea of the equipment he's been on).

TO make sure I understand this, I have reworded it to read: "Not counting DNFs if they occur before pass. Voluntary pit visit and re-entry do count". Is this what you intended?

Shouldn't 914 and 918 be combined.

Weird. I'm not sure how I did that. 914 duplicated eddahenry's bet so, I just deleted it, giving him back his 20 points.

Attention: Free Practice 1 Starts Thursday 16:55pm GMT

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but I just remembered that there is Thursday practice for Qatar, so betting will close a day early for this race.

haven't played before Rats, so .......100 points before each race is what we get ?

That being the case,

Lorenzo to win 30 points

Rossi 4th or better, 30 points

Aprillia in the top 10 10 points

Bradl 8th 10 points

Pedrosa DNF 10 points

Crutchlow top five 10 points

OK brother, here's the intention

True DNF to me is meant as crash or mechanical failure only - then gets lapped, doesn't count, I lose.
If a rider comes in and then goes out, gets lapped, or gets lapped in any other way, that counts, I win. :D

zap - click the mototheory,, register (try to keep the same name as here) then follow instructions to challenge bets. RATS only places new bets. Race winner is different process and different section.

Tip for all newbees - If you don't make "new" predictions ealy enough in the week, they might not get challenged,, then you can't make any points. If there are enough existing bets on the board, its best to challenge them. This way (according to the odds) you make more points.
Me personally - If no one challenges my bets by "day before FP1" I remove them and put the points on existing "challenged" bets.
,, since we've been doing this, IMO it's best if there are @ 10 to 15 challenged bets on the board. this makes the payout better. Too many more dilutes the payout.
One last tip - I think that most players and RATS woulds prefer fewer "1 point bets" no real payout or benefit. Maybe best to keep it to 5 or more points per???

thoughts?

All of that is wise.

I think a cutoff date/time for new predictions would be good for the game AND good for Rats sanity. I also think a minimum wager for a new prediction would be cool. 10 points ish?

Everybody else???

Oh... and the reason behind why I think I'm on for a shocker... I didn't look at the odds until after I had made all of my predictions.
