2012 MOTM RND 9 Mugello *SPOILERS*

MOTM: Very close between Bradl, and Hayden. going to give it to Hayden though as he was really unlucky to not be fighting for third at the end. Nicky Hayden had the 4th fastest lap of the race, Bradl the third fastest. Dovi, Pedrosa and Lorenzo did exceptional well but I was expecting that.

DOTM: Casey I'm afraid, terrible weekend, I'm not sure he meant to play dodgem card in that pass, I think he just ran wide and I hope he apologised afterwards. All the same Dani made the bike and tires work setting the fastest lap of the race so no excuses there for Casey. Fingers crossed the new Honda is more to his liking otherwise its going to be a very boring fight for the championship.

Following his own mantra from last year. Strangey Lorenzo like. Calm and efficient, no matter what position he is running in.



Rossi and Hayden.

Consistantly putting the bike where it is capable of finishing. (Ooooohhh-Aaaahhh, look at Barbera !!...better than these two ! )



DOTM:

Stoner. Not because of the bike,....yeah, Pedrosa did better on the same junk, but shit happens.

Mouth again. Apparently Bautista should have put on his indicator, pulled over and let the King through........

DM: Really disappointed for NIcky. He made a beautiful pass on Bradl, shame it wasn't the same in reverse.

Same... I was out of my seat with his really, really good (and clean) pass on Bradl. I wasn't expecting it. Then seconds later, he got the favor returned, not so clean and forcing him to run wide and lose places. Not a "bad" pass by Bradl and I'm happy for him and his 4th place, but at the same time can't help feeling sorry for Nicky.

The poor bloke has had such a terrible run of luck, he's got to be due for a turn around. When he has half a weekend not besotted with misfortune he's on or very close to the pace. I don't think it's unrealistic to think with a bit of luck he could win his home GP.
