They need better names for those corners. Yellow pages? Budget?!
I'm already imagining the jokes Jonathan Greene is going to pull.

Most Honorable Heng (10)47,
I regret to inform you that, although unintentional, I must hold you responsible for the damage and replacement of my ass....
in that I laughed it off after reading the above. You should expect my bill soon. Thank you for your prompt remittance.

Three points arising from yesterday's festivities in Suth Ifrica...

1. I feel bad for mocking Laconie's baldness now he's had 6 verterbrae shattered into a handful of Tic Tacs. I hope's he going to be ok.

2. That's 50 (not Rat) points that Speez has lost through technical problems in the last two fixtures. As they say in Texas: if this ain't a mess it'll do 'til one gets here.

3. How rude was Haga pushing The Damp Breeze out of the way in the post race interview? No manners.

Laconi really is immensely charismatic. He's definitely one of those people who you know has just entered the room without even looking. He'll be missed, as there are very few of those in the WSBK paddock. Nor even very many in the MotoGP paddock.

I mentioned it in my report on the main page. Spies gear shift linkage broke, so he couldn't change gear.

I read Krop's report, and then a little later the report from Yamaha Racing appeared in my in-box.
If you read their quote (below) they "accidentally?" call it something else that seems a little more fitting!

Yamaha Racing wrote:Race two saw disaster strike for Spies, having dropped to third off the start, he again passed Biaggi on the inside for the second place spot and coming round for lap three took Haga in a fantastic move for the lead. No sooner had he done this than his shit linkage broke, making it impossible to change gear and forcing him to retire from the race

Marvelous what a difference a missing letter can make to a word!
I believe I'm growing sceptical of cynicism!

You got to pity the ones that got to wash his leathers. Maybe that explained why he stormed off immediately after returning to the pits
