Good to see some more of the riders without extensive four-stroke experience show up at the front now. Promises to be an interesting season with riders from all kind of backgrounds being more competitive. Can't wait for the first race with 40 starters!

shame there is not 40 125's and 40 motogp bikes that list look great.
disappointment my trim the field
40 riders means 25 that don't score points. It's not unlikely that 15 will campaign the entire year and not score once. These results will probably make the prospect of investing in a new team even less attractive. I agree that 40 is too many. Something like 25 regulars with a handful of wild-cards is probably the biggest grids that are in the best interest of the league.
