WSBK Rider Updates: McCormick Aiming To Return, Lascorz Honoured
Submitted by Jared Earle on Sat, 2012-05-26 19:03
Brett McCormick, injured seriously in a crash at Assen, has recently been seen photographed with fans in Canada, wearing a neckbrace and standing tall. He is aiming to return to racing in August. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team rider states that his thumb is healed and the pain in his broken neck has reduced enough for physiotherapy. The Canadian is tweeting regular updates on his Twitter feed.
Joan Lascorz is still looking to at least four months of physiotherapy and is adjusting to sitting in a chair after a long bedridden period. His team have asked all the World Superbike and MotoGP riders to wear a sticker on their bikes to show support for their fellow rider.
