I don't think there is much he can do about it, but it just wouldn't seem fair if Mini P finished the season 3rd or 4th. He was the one who kept our hopes of a title fight alive in Rossi's absence and he was the one who really kept Lorenzo honest about it all.

....hopefully he'll take second place in the championship.....not a bad effort for someone who was favorite to win this championship......feel sorry for Pedrosa...but that's racing....would have liked to see Stoner stay with Ducati with Rossi as teamate.....hopefully Stoner gels quickly with the Honda and blitzes everyone, especially Rossi....

Yes agro,my sentiments exactly.23 points and anything can happen,like Dovi(HRC) dropping 25 and leaving Ben just 16 adrift with two to go.All sympathies to Dani and all credit to George.
Tell you what,the climax to this season is going to be something to behold.
Casey will go for runner up big time,thus never allowing Rossi the opportunity to brag about his incredible developement skills,after being gifted a competitive bike.
Ben,quietly ticking off his checklist.Rookie..done! Top American..done..er..to do! Poles and Podiums..done! 5th in standings..to do! Win..to do!
Sort of fancy George to win Estoril, and Valencia to jumble up the final rider standings massively.
